Baltimore Weekend Intensive

Shakespeare & Company is making its annual trek to Baltimore, and you’re invited!
The Weekend Intensive is a rare opportunity for actors to reconnect with Shakespeare’s verse, rediscover a personal connection with the text, and explore their voices in profound new ways.
It’s an exciting way to reinvigorate your connection to Shakespeare’s plays, and discover unexpected treasure hidden within the text. You will move through 20 hours of voice, monologues and exploration of the music and architecture of Shakespeare’s verse.
Each participant arrives prepared with a Shakespeare monologue, 15 – 25 lines, preferably in verse, learned by heart.
The workshop meets Friday 7-10 pm, Saturday 10 am – 10 pm and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm. Ample breaks are provided for meals.
