Richard III by William Shakespeare

September 5th, 11:00am – 8:00pm lunch 2:00 – 3:00 (non-AEA & AEA)

Prepare 2 contrasting monologues, and be ready to read from provided sides. Production will be set in modern day, using Shakespeare’s text.
 
Available Roles:
Richard III: 30 – 50 – deformed, yet extremely charismatic, a manipulator. Very confident.
George, Duke of Clarence/Tyrell: 30 – 45 – pious, strong, loyal, but a bit innocent.
Lady Anne: 20 – 35 – Recently widowed, in mourning, but apparently open to suggestion
Elizabeth – Queen, wife of Edward IV, strong.
Buckingham: 30 – 50 – politically astute, a survivor (for a while)
Brakenbury/Catesby/Lord Mayor: Multiple roles, 25 – 45
Hastings/Ratcliffe: 30 – 50, Hastings a loyal retainer, Ratcliffe, a mercenary murderer
