Mrs. Kemble's Tempest by Tom Ziegler

 

The fascinating story of Fanny Kemble; one of the most famous actresses to grace the nineteenth century American stage, an early feminist, and abolitionist. This evening is her farewell tour, as her extraordinary solo performance of The Tempest, interweaves with episodes from her own tempestuous life.

As part of the Shakespeare for a New Generation Program, sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and Arts Midwest, BSF will present an encore production of last summer's critically acclaimed Hamlet, with 2 weeks of student matinees and 4 public performances! Another chance to see all the mayhem and mystery.
